It's funny how you can have some very strong pre-conceived ideas, or stereotypes, about a color and then, while you search a bit more about it, you realize you actually like it. I never use pastel palettes in my interior, but after seeing pastel spaces everywhere lately, I realize I should. They bring a soft and peaceful ambiance, while perfectly highlighting stronger and bolder colors. J'aime!
C'est fou comme on peut avoir des idées préconçues sur une couleur et quand on regarde de plus près, on s'aperçoit que ces idées ne sont pas du tout fondées. Je n'utilise jamais de couleur pastel en déco, et à les voir un peu partout en ce moment, je me dis que je devrais. Le pastel adoucit l'espace tout en mettant en valeur les couleurs plus éclatantes. J'aime!

Funny, I had the same experience - first I was annoyed by that pastel overload on blogs and pinterest lately - but now I'm starting to like it, too. Now I'm asking myself: Am I brainwashed or just more open minded?
