House Tour : Anne, Jean-François + 2

Anne, a textile designer and owner of La Cerise sur le Gâteau shop lives in this flat in the Paris rooftops with her companion, Jean-François and their kids, Violette and Louise. Using white as a backdrop, Anne adds color in her space every time she can to give life and catch the eye. This flat is happy, and it shows!

  5. If I see something like that, I always think that I have to change everything. In my House, my room, my life.
There's something wrong here. I feel it. I'm sure.

  7. I am by no means a prude, but why would anyone write "fuck luck" on their wall and think that's OK--especially with children in their home? I have used the word myself from time to time but writing it on a wall is frankly disgusting.

    1. I respect your opinion Sallie, but some people, including myself, just view a message like this or an Helmut Newton nude poster as signs of art, not disgusting statements. They are ok to display pieces like that in their interior, when you may not. You may have wall decor or display pieces in your home that everyone does not necessarily share in taste. It's ok, right? Well, the same goes for other people's interiors. I hear a lot of people saying fuck in their home in front of their children at all times, and this shocks me a lot more than a fancy piece of metal.

    2. I agree with sallie on the fact that it is disgusting. I don't use the word. My kids don't use the word. I would never put it on my wall. Yup, that is my opinion. Just because it is "Art" doesn't mean we have to respect it. Just say'n.
